A Tribute to Erich Lindenberg

A new exhibition dedicated to Erich Lindenberg opens at Villa Pia on 29 November, marking the twentieth anniversary of the artist’s death.

The exhibition grows out of the Foundation’s ongoing research and commitment to preserving and promoting his legacy, transforming the archive into a living space for dialogue. Alongside a section devoted to the artist’s biography, works by six contemporary artists enter into conversation with his practice.

Luciano Rigolini, Adriana Beretta, Susanna Baumbartner, Franco Clivio, Aoi Huber Kono and Adriano Pitschen revisit his work from new perspectives.

The exhibition traces a path between memory and the present, exploring an artist’s legacy and the possibilities of new interpretations.

The exhibition is accompanied by a publication that brings together and builds upon fourteen years oftheFoundation’s work.

An opportunity to rediscover Lindenberg’s work and its enduring capacity to generate new connections and interpretations in the present.

We look forward to welcoming you to Villa Pia from 29 November to rediscover ErichLindenbergthrough new voices, perspectives and connections.
